The historical restoration of the Fannin County Courthouse reconstructs the tower and mansard roof and brings back the original, 1888 rough-cut limestone exterior walls. The state of Texas targeted this downtown Bonham courthouse for its Historic Courthouse Preservation Program. Part of the restoration involved completely gutting the interior and stripping the exterior.
