When the pandemic hit, millions of employees had to work from home. It wasn’t just the urban cores that were affected: hundreds of rural towns needed reliable, high-speed internet, too. CEC is building a fiber network that will reach almost 45,000 service addresses in and around Billings, Montana. The three-year project covers more than 500 miles, and includes mostly underground construction.
